That'd be cool, but Orlando looked pretty good as did a few other teams. We'll see.

It feels like Birmingham will be playing Orlando for the ship, but who knows what these teams are gonna look like after a month of games and practices. It's too early to start declaring winners.

Yeah it really is, that Birmingham d looked really good though. And the offense looked like this wasn't their first game together. We shall see.

Judging only by what we saw on week 1, there isn't much parity in this league at all.

Watching Birmingham and Orlando beat down their opponents was like playing Madden on the lowest difficulty setting.

Memphis's offense consists of David Lee as OC and Christian Hackenberg at QB. There's 0% chance that we win any games. I'll be shocked if we ever score.

The majority of the rosters of all these teams consists of has-been or never-was players. I'm not saying you may not end up being right, but hard to take a lot from one game

I may try to catch a game or two this year. I don’t mind the old stadium as much as I do it’s location. Downtown carjack city is not a place I like being. Seems to me the Hoover Met would be a more fan friendly location.

David Lee was the point more-so than Hackenberg.

If they can keep the league going and keep growing the popularity, the next step in making last will be to start bringing back the talent in Canada. There are a lot of decent players up there. I like that they are taking it slow, no reason to try to compete on salary this early. That is what killed the USFL and others.

fair enough. But how much are positional coaches even making in this league? You have to think they're scraping the bottom of the barrel just to fill out a staff. I'd have to imagine you wouldn't make any more coaching QBs in this league as you would at an FCS type school. Only thing I can find is rumors of some of the head coaches making about $500k.
