Bill was a great guy. Knew him for decades. Really going to miss him ... he was an icon around Gamecock baseball.

Sitting here talking to Bob D., who was one of his best friends - there are some good stories to tell about Bill. He was a regular at our Cockaboose during football season. He used to drive some opposing baseball fans crazy.

Someone show the Vandy whistler this so he knows what a true superfan is supposed to be like.

Does the lady behind him have a sign that says "Rock out with your cock out"?

quote:

"Rock out with your cock out"

Could be referring to the local hit, Rock Out with your (Game)Cock Out

Oot Oot makes an appearance in this around the 2:50 mark

Sorry to hear that. Some folks make the world a better place by having been it and that certainly seems to sound like him.

So sad.

He was awesome. I remember him from the SEC tourney. He handed my disabled son a foul ball and made his day. Really a great guy.

RIP Bill. I never knew your name, but sure did appreciate you all the same.
