I wouldnt say Julio is a bust. I think the Falcons kind of set him up as a bust bc of everything they gave up. Same with mark ingram. I think if Julio stays healthy he has all pro potential.

I know you're kidding around, but Josh Booty was not a bust in baseball either. Making a major league roster, which he did, is not a bust. Never making it past AA as a 1st round pick would be a bust.

I am kidding around, but believe it or not, he is listed #33 in ESPN's All-Time Draft Busts regardless of sport. #1 All-Time Bust is Sam Bowie with Ryan Leaf #2.

Anyone after the '09 draft shouldn't really be on the list unless they're dead or out of the league. Way too soon to be a "bust".

Billy Cannon went #1 overall and didn't do anything in the NFL.

He's not the biggest draft bust, but Patrick Lee, former Auburn cornerback. I think he got drafted in the 2nd round and he's not on the field near as much as he should be. He's been mainly good on special teams and such.

because he played in the AFL all but the last year of his 11 year career. In the AFL he led the league in rushing once, was an all-star 3 times, and was a two time champion. yeah he didn't do anything....

#1 i understand that since you're an lsu fan you have to defend every lsu player no matter if you are right or wrong.
#2 it was a wasted #1 any way you look at
#3 you're an idiot

Could well be a starter in Oakland this year.

He has had some off the field trouble, but he plays for Oakland. Its expected.
It might actually be stipulated in the contract.

the rest of the players listed in this thread are guys that were complete wash outs. i'm not defending him because he went to lsu, i'm arguing your post because it was retarded. in no universe would billy cannon be an all-time biggest bust. no he wasn't the best player in the nfl like he was in college football, but that wasn't the topic of the thread either. an all-time bust doesn't have an 11 year career. an all-time bust doesn't make 3 all-league teams. an all-time bust doesn't lead the league in rushing. an all-time bust never amounts to anything and is out of the league in a few years. there are literally hundreds of guys that are bigger busts than billy cannon could ever be. he had 8000+ all purpose yards in his career. that's nothing pedestrian in the 60s

How has Tyson Jackson not been mentioned yet? Michael Clayton had good rookie year then sucked balls after. Glenn Dorsey hasn't done crap.

Tyson Jackson - since he was drafted 1st rd is probably on the list.

M. Clayton - think he got a SB ring with the Giants this year but as mentioned has really underperformed after his rookie season.

Dorsey - has been playing out of position (DE in 3-4 scheme) from the start but is steady if not spectacular. Wouldn't classify him as a bust yet.

He wasn't just 1st round...he was 3rd overall. Thats a MAJOR bust in my eyes.

As a Raider fan JaMeatLoaf is the worst bust evaaa, as for Gabbert he may well end up a bust but after 1 year too early to say. Hell Elway had one of the worst rookie years ever???

Tannehill has been labeled a bust before the draft has even occurred. Not sure if that counts

Missouri - Blaine Gabbert 2011, round 1, pick 10

High bust potential but he has only played 14 games without having an offseason due to the lockout. Not a bust yet.

On Glenn Dorsey, hes not a bust but he didnt live up to his pick.

I would also nominate Tyson Jackson. 3rd overall pick in 2009 and he has been terrible. Definitely a bust.

Tyson Jackson qualifies and never should have been picked that high to start with

Gabbert could turn it around but he looks not only confused but also afraid - I think he's not even on the Jags roster after the end of the 2013 season

This was infuriating at Mizzou. Gabbert was one of the most frustrating QB's to watch at Mizzou IMO. Ever since he got his ankle tore up by Suh in the Nebraska game, he had terrible "happy feet" and was poor at stepping into the pocket. If he doesn't fix that, you are right about him not being on the roster.

J. Russell has to be the costliest, he got major paid, and didn't do a damn thing.
