Tyler Love. Got injured early on and someone mistakenly told him that the doctor's office was at the frat house and beer is a great rehab tool.
I would have said BJ Scott, but his failures weren't his own fault, so I am reluctant to label him a bust.

Good for him, but we are talking about football busts here...
My reasoning was that he most likely has not transferred for playing time is because schools like USA or UNA don't offer what he's getting a degree in. Or it's not seen as a quality degree. He's not lazy. Certainly not in getting a degree in engineering and playing football. That is more time consuming than I would want to think about.

Hmm I don't know about him. He was a total frickup in the game of life, but once he got on the field, he was better than anyone we had on the field. He won the UF game in 06.

Luther Davis contributed a lot in four years. He started some games as well, including 4-5 last year. I can't label him a bust.

Freddie Kitchens. Yeah, he put up some numbers, but he was nowhere near as good as they said he was coming out of high school. Kitchens was ranked as the #1 overall QB in the recruiting class of 1994 by Forrest Davis. He had him ranked AHEAD of Peyton Manning.

Hard to compare their system of ranking prospects then, to now. Not as many camps for proper evaluations. Not enough people out evaluating either.

This is true. Plus the idea of ranking recruiting classes and evaluating talent for the fans was a relatively new idea. Forrest Davis paved the way for websites like Scout and Rivals to develop. Recruiting is a much bigger deal now for the average joe fan than it was 15-20 years ago.
