Just cause they are listed as an ATH doesn’t mean they aren’t WR’s. Did they not play WR in high school? Hell i think being a 5 ?? Ath is more impressive than a 5?? receiver

Jeudy had a crucial catch in the NC game. Ruggs had a clutch TD in the NC game (6 TDs on the year) and was scoring on every other catch.

Keep moving those goal posts.

No. Both played QB. Mecole Hardman’s first year at WR was his sophomore year at UGA.

But our freshman WR’s put up better numbers than y’all’s... lol why didn’t you look that up before saying they had better numbers than Pickens and Blaylock?
Honestly, you can’t compare given the different offenses and opponents. UGA had a ton of attrition at WR and Coley/Fromm didn’t help at all. Kirby also decided to run with blockers (Simmons, landers) over actual WR’s for half the year.

WR is one of the easiest positions to transition from HS to College

What? Are you bat-shite crazy? It's probably the most difficult.

Hell, look at Jason Hazelwood at OU this season (5* #1 recruit in GA) He barely made an impact.270 yards and 1 TD

A wide open catch due to a busted coverage proves nothing lol. Bama fans showing why their state is ranked 50th in education.

They won more games against ranked opponents than bama this year. Pickens was also the MVP of the Sugar Bowl.

What? No it iasnt.Your guys barely made a dent compared to Pickens.

Hell look how much LSU's WR's improved from their Freshman years. Its perhaps the most difficult posistion for a Freshman to grasp other than QB

That "wide open catch due to a busted coverage' kept Georgia from winning a National Championship and extended the number of years since Georgia has won the Natty.

I think it proved quite a lot, that Georgia just can't beat Bama when it counts.

To be fair, Pickens had excellent numbers partly because UGA was so thin on the outside.

There's still opportunity this season, which is why this years WR class have enormous opportunity to make a significant impact.

ETA: This really wasn't supposed to be a troll post. Why are so many fan bases so salty?

Except we were talking about freshman WR’s and their production... you are awful at this.

Depends on the offense

It's pretty difficult in the SEC no matter

UGA’s offense wasn’t going to produce big numbers from any WR. The offense never threw the ball unless they had to and most opposing DC’s, all but Grantham, figured out Fromm couldn’t hit a deep ball.

Yes, we are. Our freshman WRs produced when it counted. Yours didn’t

So it went from Bama’s had better numbers, to something else, now this... try to stay on topic. UGA’s freshman WR’s put up better numbers than Bama’s. You’re switching topics faster than Saban switches coordinators.
