Ok then;
Vitello/UT- 7 wins since 2017
PM/JJ/LSU- 5 wins since 2017 against UT, and 2-7 since 2019!!

What are the significances of 2017 and 2019?

Surely you aren't spinning this to make it look better for Tennessee, right?

2017- Vitello first year which is the 1st year UT has had a real baseball coach in my lifetime.
2019- my bad.
2020- is the next time we played LSU, and UT/Vitello has dominated since going 7-2 against LSU since 2020. Is that better for ya?

So you admit to using arbitrary timelines to make it look better for Tennessee?

Just trying to be clear on this.

With the way that team is currently constructed I do not think they get out of the super regionals

Hopefully we don't have to play notre dame

Can we throw out the Johnson’s first year as well?

Nope! As you see I noted the entire record. If we took Vitello 1st year out all together, his dominance is even more noticeable. Just be happy that you are this close to Vitello win lose record as it could have been worse.

Vitello is 2-2 against Johnson. That's not dominant. Especially considering the "greatest team of all time" 10rc put on the field last year.

Ole Miss won the national title last year and is currently 2-10 in league play. Certainly gotta be them to this point.

State doesn’t have much room to talk, last year’s collapse from 2021 was really bad and I’m not sure they’re much better this year.

I think Tennessee will be fine. The sweep by Mizzou is puzzling but they’ve played a brutal schedule otherwise. They’re still a good team and will be a serious threat to make a deep postseason run. Don’t feel that way about State and Ole Miss.

Nope. It’s doesn’t change the fact that Vitello has a winning record against LSU since becoming a HC. It also don’t change the facts that LSU has lost 7 of the last 9 games they have played. I don’t have to make UT look good, they do a good enough job of doing that themselves.

this season will be only the 4th in 23 seasons under Bianco that the Rebels havent made a regional, and the 1st time not to make the SEC tournament. Now, you aint comfortable with the term "tradition" being used in a conversation about Ole Miss baseball, because baseball is the one thing state college fans have long been able to claim superiority over the flagship University of Mississippi, and state college fans get a good feeling about themselves when the "tradition" of state college baseball is mentioned. Nevermind the fact that over the past 25 years, Ole Miss has been far more "consistently" successful in baseball than state college. but the term "consistent" doesnt chap their asses. its the term tradition that wads their drawers...bless their hearts,m God love em

So a tarp beat the powerhouse LSU team by 8 runs lmao. The only thing that saved you crybabies from a sweep was the ump behind the plate and mother nature. Be thankful that you were able to slink out of Columbia with just your wounded pride

oh..you know this for a fact? Weird, you guys also didnt think we would score runs off the man, but we hit 2 dingers in the first 3 innings.

I can make claims too.... no way you were going to score anymore runs on our ace, and he was going to strike all your batters out.
