Somewhere in the 70's or 80's when Bear Bryant was still alive and had Alabama at UK's stadium after they moved from Stoll Field.
EDIT : autocorrect put Still not Stoll

UK was up by 2 TD's with 2 min left in game

Bama came back an won by 14?

Hogs have some of the most painful to watch
#1 Fumble to Tennessee, still hurts today
#2 Muffing the CWS

I think TAMU was in the SEC when they were up on UCLA like 35-0 and lost

If it involves the refs it is not really a choke but a robbery

WCBB - State gets robbed by Notre Dame
MCBB - UK gets robbed by UCLA in Wooden's last game

These are some that come to mind

I was at the Final Four when UK lost to Badgers, I do not consider it a choke. I Balme that all on Cal.

It's the foul ball.

It's the only Arkansas sports heart break, of which there are many, that I still haven't gotten over.

That was nothing compared to the Stoernover or dropped foul ball. I think we definitely compete as the truly best choke artists.

Nothing compares to the 1969 Texas game.

Oh yeah. Left that one out. That’s the centerpiece and is definitely up there vying for #1 of all time.

While the INT was unfortunate, how do you think of it as a choke?

Even if Arkansas won that game, Nutt would let the team slack off all week and lose by double digits against state in the next game.

Arkansas would get a rematch with Tennessee in the SECCG but this time Tennessee scores 24 points in the first half while Arkansas scores 7. Arkansas comes back but Tennessee scores on a pick six to seal the game.

Arkansas doesn't qualify as true choke artists as they just haven't been in enough big games.

Arkansas had a two TD lead but instead of going for a FG which Arkansas did have a good kicker but Frank got greedy and went for it. It should have been 17-0 and back during this time when high powered offenses was rare, it would have been extremely hard to win.

So yes in a way it was a choke when the stakes was extremely high viewed by 50 million on TV in Fayetteville. Nixon was in attendance.

It was a huge game. The last game before integration. The game that broke Frank Broyles..

Definitely. I think it broke a lot of people from that time and has ridden with bad vibes since. At the very least we need to have all of our athletic facilities exorcised.

Staying Arkansas you can throw Clint Stoerner in there.

I agree with this

Maybe the other two are newer but both are still a punch in the gut. With the other game it feels more like a bad beat but part of the game. The other two you are winning up to the end with your own people making the mistake.

You have to be in the games to win them or lose them.

Not a single regret for what Saban has done for the brand.
