Both at home

Both 2 touchdown favorites

One playing #7. The other playing 1-2 Tennessee with losses to Georgia state and BYU

I’ll go with the one who has their starting QB still with playoff aspirations

This game means very little for my dawgs playoff hopes imo. Win or lose, they need to win SEC.

Yeah in hindsight that is a good point. A 1 loss SEC champion still gets in

I just feel like it would be a “bigger deal” to UGA fans than Florida if they lost to Tennessee. That would be a really bad loss though.

Losing to Tenn most years is bad. This year it would make a large melt. However; Georgia fans expect a national title basically, so losing to a ND team they seem to lack respect for would probably bring out a lot of frustration

I hope Notre Dame beats the shite out of UGA.

I know it won't happen but......

Definitely Bulldog Nation.

Deep down, Gator fans know their team is a joke and the rest of the season will bear that out. They desperately want a win against Tennessee so that the lie they tell themselves can continue for a few weeks longer, but the truth would tamper their emotions should they lose to the Vols.

The Georgia-Notre Dame game will be the story of the CFB weekend regardless of how it goes.

So Georgia is the answer.

lol @ acting like UGA respects ND less than UF respects UT. UGA can lose and still be undefeated in SEC play. UF can’t.

No reason to melt there unless UGA gets demolished.

UGA will definitely still be the favorite to rep the East in the SECCG and if they win out after losing to ND they'd still be in the CFP (so long as the loss isn't a horrifically bad one). And even then, their 20 point loss to LSU last year alone didn't keep them out of the CFP -- losing to Bama is what shut the door.

If Florida loses that game, even by a single point, melting will be fully justified.

Exactly. Somehow UF fans are rationalizing that a loss to a top 10 ND is the same as a loss to a 1-2 UT team that has losses to Georgia State and BYU...

Florida.

Notre Dame is more Georgia's equal than Tennessee is Florida's.

Way too many games left to be played. A close loss in the SEC championship game isn’t the end if that’s the only loss.

A 12-1 Georgia is in over Clemson or OU if either lose a game along the way. Plus, a win over ND will look great on the resume. ND is going to win a lot of games this year.

Yeah we’re gona melt way harder if we lose. Playoff chances go way down and it’s only week 4. Would still get in as a 1 loss sec champ but I wouldn’t count on winning the sec if we lose to ND.

Georgia for sure. I mean Florida? No one pays attention to them anymore.

Take a tally of how many fans (UF and UGA) of each team are in this thread and there's your answer.
