VOLS flipped some 3* slaw QB that was committed to Memphis to replace Johnson and signed a 3* RB named Timothy Jordan, who was the 294th best player in Florida.

VOLS beat out WKU, UMASS, SMU, and Boise State among others for their services.

Higgins didn't have a commitable offer according to sources.

Etienne was a backup plan that knew he was a backup plan. The real loss was that Akers dude. People seemed to really want him.

Etienne is a good player but not somebody that you have to worry about replacing. The real loss was Cam Akers who went to FSU.

A 5-star recruit, ranked #2 at his position, didn't have a committable offer?

Look how late we offered Etienne. RB wasn't really a need this year.

It will be next year, though

That is correct. Our staff evaluates off of film, not some silly star ranking. Congrats on your VOLS leftovers.

we didn't need to replace Etienne. he never was at LSU. FSU got the guy we wanted and we'll have to wait until next year to sign a big feature back. Etienne may end up a great back; he just wasn't on our list and we only offered late due to losing Akers.
