I hate literally all west coast teams, so I could get behind that
If you look in the link to the article, under the section called "Laughing at the Critics", Robinson goes pretty in depth about players being upset about the game being cancelled
That's a great point, but I'd argue that the best part of the NCAA Football series (IMO) is Dynasty mode. Downloading accurate rosters online give your dynasty's program a certain "realness" that beats online play (which is far too often a bunch of 12 year olds that never punt, always go for it on 4th down, always go for 2, and always kick onside kicks).

But a game w/ completely random players that have no similarities to the real life team would not be something i'd purchase. It would be like buying a copy of NCAA with every roster being exact replicas of what every team's year 8 dynasty roster looks like.

I'll pass on a roster of Lamar Curtis(QB#19, left handed, 52 speed, skin color: white), Tyreke Hill (RB#47, 6'3, 180 lbs, 80 speed, skin color: white), Pat Smith (K#1, left footed, speed 47, skin color black)

We all know it's JaMarcus Russell in disguise
I'd be down for that, but only if players still had the option to customize rosters and download accurate ones online

This episode of South Park brilliantly summed up how EA Sports and the NCAA treats the players
The case eventually led to deliberations that earned a stipend for college athletes, but still no agreement has been made to bring back the EA Sports NCAA Football series. NCAA Football 14 is starting to get old.
Here's an interview with one of the chief plaintiffs in the case. Although i'm spiteful he had something to do with halting production of one of my favorite video game series, he does have a lot of good points about compensating student-athletes for participating in their sports. Not sure if you guys feel the same, but see for yourself...

A 5-star recruit, ranked #2 at his position, didn't have a committable offer?

Where do each of you go from here now that Louisiana RB Travis Etienne has gone to Clemson?

Brief write-up on his recruitment...

Would he have been able to compete for playing time immediately in LSU's backfield?

Thank you sir, it's nothing you won't find on our board. It's all in good fun. This will be my last post for a while, final exam week is approaching and I need to prioritize. Once again, best wishes to the LSU tigers and the fans. God Bless.

We have weapons too. Your dynamic offense is no match for our defense.

You Sure? Ask FSU about our offense.

Sure we haven't. We beat the likely future Heisman winner at his house, remember? We also beat your In State rival.

Which brings up my point of having playmakers all over the field, not just one heisman hopefully QB. If we're talking about Heisman QB's... Enter, Tajh Boyd

Some are just having a little fun - some are genuinely pathetic. We deserved a better bowl, but we aren't unstoppable. 6-6 Ole Missy almost took us out in Tiger Stadium followed by John L. Smith's fantastic bunch in Arkansas.

However, we'll be rested and ready to go. So that could be difficult for Clemson.

This is an example of a classy post I expected in response to my original message. Thank you.

I'll break this game down a little bit. You play in the SEC, yes. You have an amazing defense, yes. But all of you have clearly just left the short bus if you don't think we have a dynamic offense. We have weapons all over the field. Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins, Tajh Boyd, Andre Ellington. Hell, you'll even see our little white boy Adam Humphries make plays. I have the upmost respect for LSU's defense, but you have never seen an offense in this scheme, with this many playmakers all over the field. The key comes down to your front line. If you can sack Tajh Boyd, it might be a long day for the tigers. But if Tajh has time, he will take advantage of mistakes made by the secondary. On defense for Clemson....well we don't have one of those. We have the left over freshmen and sophomores from the shittiest coordinator alive, Kevin Steele. All I can say is its game time, and if you over look this team (which I know all of you are scared will happen deep down), it will be a long day for the Bayou Bengals.

Looking forward to this game. I know many LSU fans are disappointed with this game, but I think the talent of this Clemson team (on offense) is getting over looked. Looking forward to a great game on New Years Eve, hopefully this game will change the opinion on this board of Clemson being "irrelevant" or "a laughing stock". God Bless, Go Tigers.
