Again OU, you are in no position to make moral statements about what Tech should do. The lawsuit was Sorsby’s. Has he put Tech in a bad position. Absolutely.

I don’t know if Sorsby would sue Tech if they drop him. He has a contract. Maybe it’s unenforceable. Again he hasn’t even played a down for Tech. Everyone has convicted Tech and no one knows the final outcome yet. Personally I hope he loses the appeal. Makes it easier for Tech to figure all of this out. And don’t go say what they should do because no SEC school has followed the NCAA guidelines in years past - been paying players for years. Selective outrage.

Here’s the one problem I have with what you keep saying, in this particular situation there’s no Gray area no nuance it’s black-and-white if you bet on sports and you bet on a team you’re playing on you’re gone, you’re out. You wanna keep lumping it in with other things, but it’s not like the other things..

Prohibet informed Cincy last August before the season about Sorsby’s betting according to reports. USA Today reported that Cincy was informed in August 2025 of his betting. Cincy always said no comment when asked about it. Now they say they had no knowledge. CYA. They knew and played him anyway. There is now some speculation that Cincy will get punishment for playing him and covering up the gambling. Lot more of this story to come out before it’s over.
Tech did not know. I won’t play the victim because that‘s weak. We will see how it all plays out.

im sure tech would have just cut him if they werent already paying him millions of dollars. im not sure what the backup plan was if he got hurt or if they didnt land the kid in the first place. lane took 4qbs out of the portal just in case . maybe tech should have had a backup plan.

Lots of speculation but no facts. He hasn’t even played a down for Tech. Maybe never will. If he doesn’t I’m sure all of the experts on here will come back praising Tech. Yeah right. Again lots of talk with little if any facts. And lots of selective outrage.

Reports are that he only bet on Indiana games when he was redshirted there. Never bet on a game he played in. He bet on lots of other stuff but not his games. We will see if this is true. Again, lots of postings with no facts.

why is he suspended for the first two games of the year? its either punished or not punished with something like this ,you would think.
