I don't know if they're better, but they are dang good. An AU v Wiscy matchup would be epic in my opinion. Every bit as good as one of the two playoff games.

*Realism.

The Big Ten hasn't lost a bowl game yet. No reason to deviate from that.

Big 10 is 61-89-2 against the SEC.

There’s no reason to deviate from that.

7-0 isn't subjective.

A round robin of Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin vs Alabama, Georgia and Auburn would be a lot of fun.

A vs B is objective. A >C has no bearing on A vs. B, and is therefore subjective. It’s at best an inference.

If you want to do cartwheels over a ranked NW team beating 7-5 Kentucky by 1 Point...by all means have at it.

Now Ohio State’s losing record to the SEC, that’s objective. The Big Tourteens losing record to the SEC is also objective.

7-0 > 1-3. Everything else is subjective.

Facts are facts.

I watch a lot of games with Gumps. Most of you are OK enough.

I’d feel pretty good about the top four matchups for the SEC, all else being equal.

Miss St versus Michigan without Fitzgerald would be a toss up kind of game.

I’d give USCe a solid edge over Northwestern.

But you never know til you play the games.

If the two SEC teams win their games (which is possible but not probable), the B1G jock clingers will fade into the background again.

Woody Hayes was a pussy

Btw. I’ve never believed in conference pride. I’ve always thought the big conferences were all about the same over time. Anyone who rates conferences use whatever narrative fits their own bias

It’s all bullshite. Even though the sec did a good job to promote their perception. It was good marketing and helped in the short term. But if you don’t have the coaches you don’t have the programs. And right now the big ten has done better at hiring coaches

UGA vs OSU Five of the top rushers in the nation this year could only muster Bradshaw-Army (50), Barkley-PSU (44), Taylor-Wisc (36), and Jones-USS (62)...Ga would fare no better and a Frosh QB against OSU' DL???you saw what what happened to Darnold

Bama vs PSU PSU has trouble with dual threat QB's and their defense gives up alot of yeard and points...high scoring but Bama wins

Aub vs Wisc You just can't ubderstand how physical Wisc is unless you play them

LSU vs Mich St If the MSU that played PSU, Mich and Wash St shows up..this isn't close

Miss St vs Mich Mich only losses are to teams with 13,12,11, and 10 wins....USClight is about to see another defense similar to Ga or Clem...and we all know how that turned out

USCe vs NW..if this is in Evanston..NW wins..in Columbia..USC wins

And you don't realize how physical auburn is till you play them. See how that works?

Auburn would run wisky out the building.
