2015 Michigan State- lost 0-38 to Bama
2021 Michigan- lost 11-34 to Georgia
2022 Michigan- lost 45-51 to TCU

Average score is 18-41…. An average of a three TD loss each time. Helped mightily by Michigan playing a close game against a TCU squad who didn’t belong in the first place.

Michigan will be exposed once again.

Big 12 is 1-6 in playoff games.

Their one win was followed by 65-7.

But “muh SEC is down this year and should be watching these shite conferences compete for a title from the sideline.”

This playoff will drive home the point we all recognize....the B1G is no longer relevant in college football.

Michigan is a fraud.

The only elite team Harbaugh has ever beaten at Michigan is Ohio State. That's it. They schedule no P5 teams in their non conf and play no one in the conf outside of Ohio State. They have a 1 game season and use all their prep for the Buckeyes.

The media covering the upcoming Rose Bowl are acting like this is some titanic matchup...I don't see it. I think ppl are going to be really dissapointed with how boring this game ends up being.

The only shot Michigan has in making this a tight game is if Milroe struggles and our run game doesn't step up.

Michigan O line has a few guys weighing around 280 lbs. They don't have any speed on their roster. I smell a beatdown coming.

But hey maybe I'm wrong. Won't be the first time.

Michigan is favored though. It’s one of the more surprising lines I’ve ever seen. ESPN’s matchup predictor has MI at 56%.

I think FSU should have gotten in by finishing 13-0.

If we are going to pretend losses in the regular season don’t matter, then we should just break away and only play ourselves. There is no reason to let little conferences into the CFB subdivision if they are going to be disqualified from the playoff despite going undefeated.

I think everyone, myself included, thinks FSU should be in. Texas should have been out.

That's huge. Saban is hard enough to beat but a pissed off underdog Saban is something they don't want any part of. I still don't get the betting line

Probably factoring in bama’s loss to Texas, close win against a terrible south Florida, close win against a bad Arkansas, miracle win against a bad auburn and injury/referee aided win against uga.

Which is driven by FPI that really overvalues Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State.

Penn State is 3 in FPI.

FPI is heavily influenced by game control. Those three teams have dominated the rest of the conference by so much while playing minimal quality OOC games that they get overvalued. The only quality OOC games for the 3 of them are OSU-ND and PSU-WVU.

Most computer models over value Michigan just like they did Oregon for dominating weak opponents.

But more likely, it will drive home the point that the word "college" is no longer relevant in the phrase college football.

It is really a big money donor driven entity at this point.

Stoops made it perfectly clear when he talked about having a ceiling unless the Kentucky fan base chooses to contribute more.

A team like Nebraska will never be a powerhouse again. It is what it is.

This reality amounts to ESPN's equivalent of a Bud Light decision.

Just when you might have thought that Disney/ESPN had nothing more left to screw up, they unapologetically promote the undercutting of an undefeated P5 program.

As RG III simply put it, "you can't trump undefeated."

How does Texas jump from 7 to 3 based on beating a trash Ok St team? There's no logic. Simply beating Alabama shouldn't trump everything else. It's insanity.

Bama had a reason to jump from 8 to 4. Just beat no. 1 UGA.

The committee basically said "screw it". Let's just put the best 4 in forreal this time. FSU QB is hurt and we don't want to leave out Texas because they beat Bama.

I'm not even saying the committee is wrong I just don't get why everyone thinks Bama is the team that should have been left out. The only reason anyone would think that just hates Bama. Admit it. That's your "reasoning". Alabama is one of the teams that earned it on the field.

If a team goes to the playoffs, the share is in the neighborhood of 70 million.

The Orange Bowl share is 14 million.

Leaving an undefeated P5 team out amounts to a screw job of "historic" proportions. Every knowledgeable college football fan across the entire nation knows it.

Completely forgot Sparty made it in. But, vague memory I had of that game is that Bama took it easy on them the second half.

In a way, I’m glad this happened to further prove a larger playoff is necessary. This year, I believe there are 6 top tier teams who can win a Natty, then there is everyone else.
