pelini was the DC for lsu when they won their last national title. that 2007 lsu defense was all pelini or a combination of les miles and pelini. either way pelini had a hand in it. if it was all pelini then I guess we now know why lsu hasn't won a national title since pelini left

Pelini was DC and interim HC at Nebraska and co-DC at Oklahoma BEFORE he came to LSU. He brought his scheme with him. Myles is an offensive coach.

plus as bad as we've been the last two years, alabama hasn't been able to score 70 points on us. that nebraska team bert beat is much better than we've been the past 2 years

2-3 years
it may happen sooner and occur somewhat this season. as I mentioned in the OP we got that 3 headed running back monster this year

cool so the 2007 defense that lsu won the national title with was all Pelini's work?
good to know bert beat a nebraska team with a head coach that can take 100% credit for that lsu defense in 2007. that was a pretty stout defense
