Lane should shoot back about Bert’s success in the Big10 proving it’s an easier conference.

Of course people on this board think this is Kiffin being “owned”

Bert is a fat tard, sorry excuse for a coach and a human being. Lane is a better coach than that slug could ever hope to be.
True but you're a fig. I'd rather be Bert

Bert probably has just as much accomplished if not more than Lane over his career.
Hard to believe by many but this is true.

You’d rather be a fat disgusting POS crap football coach? To each his own I guess.

He did pretty well this year with an Ole Miss reject as QB

Lane choked with a loaded roster and a veteran

Bert had a winning record at Wisconsin and now at Illinois. The only place he really struggled was Arkansas. I think that says more about Arkansas than it does Bielema.

As an OC? He didn't do bad esp. with Saban's help.
As an HC? ...

It doesn’t matter just curious what that poster would put. I’m sure he’s looking and will cherry pick.
Bret’s been a coach a lot longer, was an all American player as well. They’ve both coached in multiple conf and the nfl. Both have been to big bowls. Lane does have a natty when at Alabama but as OC, still impressive. Bert has tons of players in the nfl as I’m sure lane has some studs.
The ole miss poster likely didn’t think about all of that he just thinks Bret is the fat Arkansas coach.

Being out from Barry Alvarez’s shadow and thumb was a big difference for Bert.
Bert’s lifestyle here plus a tougher conference had a lot to do with it. Maybe having kids has put him more in focus. Good for him.

Bert is off-base. Illinois hasn’t beaten anyone who was even remotely close to the strength of Georgia and S Carolina.
Bert is also fat.

Bert sounds like a democrat

He has illinois ranked and at 9 wins. Regardless of the schedule the last time that happened was 2007.
He also didn’t do it with 20 million dollars like ole miss did this year.

If the two teams lined up against one another, my money is on Ole Miss.
