We have a bend but don't break defense. IMO, we do not match up well with Bama's offense (does anyone?)
It's not a bad approach, though. Get the game into the red zone and then rely on your guys to force FG tries. Obviously passing gets a little more difficult down there.

Running has proven to be difficult for us down there, too.

We are playing a new nose tackle, new cornerback, a lot more freshmen at OLB since the LSU game. The early results have been favorable.
We are also very scheme specific with our ILB and S/nickel/dime personnel. There is more youth at those positions depending upon what the offense is showing us.
I don't think we are the same defense as the one LSU faced (most notably because of the NT).
I think we are better than we were at that game.
But similar to Ben Cleveland in last year's NCG (true freshman who came on last season after the Auburn loss), there are technical errors that a talented opponent can force out of our youth.

Yeah, the one X-factor is that the Swift of the past three or four games is not the Swift of the beginning of the year. Not sure what happened but he's flipped the switch and now looks like the guy we expected he would be.

Alabama has the best secondary in the conference

Better secondary - LSU or UGA?
Answer: Bama
Got it.

Swift has finally recovered from surgery due to torn groin muscles and from an ankle sprain. I don't think anyone knew how bad his groin tear was until the ESPN sideline reporter spilled it the other night after he broke off that long TD run against Auburn. It was just being presented to the fans and media as a 'groin pull' all year.

He had surgery on both sides of his groin. Ouch. Hurts just thinking about it. He seems to have recovered now, so he is looking much, much better.

I think Baker's stats are slightly better.
But Baker probably has more pass interference calls.
It is as close to a push as you will find.

LSU and Alabama have the two best secondaries in the country.

If Greedy is allowed to grab and hold, he's awesome.

IMHO Delpit is the best player in each secondary but Baker is better than Greedy.
LSU has the better secondary, Georgia has be the CB though

LSu has the better db;s and they need them because they can't get a good enough pass rush. I guess covering guys for 5 or 6 seconds gets them nfl ready.

The bigger question is who is the better quarterback, Fromm or Burrow? The consensus would probably agree that it's certainly Fromm.
Based on that, Fromm struggled mightily against LSU. Burrow probably played his best game as a Tiger against UGA. So you tell me..

One game.
How much do you want to take from 1 game?
I was hoping for the neutral field rematch, but no luck.

Deandre is a beast. Dude is gonna make a ton of plays and money in the NFL. Fun to watch him play.
