And they will have a much better qb

Maybe we were a year early lol.
Honestly did arch improve and end the year strong? I would prefer to be like #7-10 but I understand the reason we are ranked that high

It’s funny all the shitting in Texas where almost 1/3 went from ranked to unranked.
Texas never should have been preseason number 1 but a top 10 team absolutely

Half of the top 18 finish the season unranked ?!!? Do away with preseason polls already.

Okay, but when is the last time ND, Oregon, or A&M accomplished anything? Why should anyone expect next year to be different

All those teams at least made the playoffs in the past 2 years, while ND made it to the NCG.
LSU has had 3 regular season losses minimum in all but one of the past 12 seasons.
You're on a 1st year HC.
And they say Alabama fans have unrealistic expectations.

Indiana was - quite possibly, without exaggeration - the worst major-conference program in the sport’s history entering this season (and almost certainly was without debate if you evaluate pre-2024) and just won the championship.
I know we all hate feeling old, but 2019 was longer ago than you think. No NCAA players at all next season were in college then. All the 2026 juniors, sophomores and freshmen were in middle school. Covid was something nobody had ever heard of. LSU has since fired two coaches.
2019 is completely irrelevant. Unless the NCAA granted Burrow / Chase / Jefferson an extra year of eligibility I wasn’t aware of….

That you think a championship in 2019 should make LSU favored more above other teams, including Alabama, is funny shite man.

After last year I'm sure all the idiots in the media that were pumping that nonsense last year wont be too quick to jump to conclusions again (this year it might be warranted).
They’ll do it all over again. They don’t get paid to be right, they get paid for views.
