If they are the greatest SEC team ever, I guess that means 95 Nebraska would've blown out the 49ers.

Two teams had their only losses (Texas and Florida) to Alabama that year, meaning Alabama basically beat the #2 and #3 finishing teams who were a combined 26-0 when not playing teams named "Alabama".

All pre-playoffs.

That said, any team that goes through the playoffs will have played two highly ranked teams to win (top 4). Hard to compete with that.

That same exact team lost to 2010 Auburn the next year...

Except 2010 Bama was without Rolando McClain (2009 Butkus Award winner), Javier Arenas (SEC's best punt returner in 2009 and solid overall DB), and Terrance "Mount" Cody - who were all NFL draftees.

2009 Alabama is the only SEC team to beat two teams that won 13 games in the same season - Florida and Texas.

I don't know what point you are making but the 95 Florida was no joke. They beat the hell out of everybody they played that year. Nobody stayed within 10 all year. Nebraska may have been the greatest college team ever that year. I don't think that game was indicative of what those teams were. If they play 10 more times I doubt Nebraska would beat them that bad again.
UF 62 - UT 37
UF 52 - UGA 17
Beat Arky in SEC championship by 31.

So yea that was a great SEC team but Nebraska had it going

They lost to FSU. They, like Alabama, were fortunate for a rematch.

'92 Bama. If that was the team that beat Miami for the natty. That was a great team.

So was the LSU team that Saban won a Matty with.

That was a painful loss man. It really made me question a lot of things in life getting beat by people who have incestuous ways with their sibling and cousins.

And you are corrrect. It was Alabama's first Natty in 13 years (after tBear left). We were #1 preseason and ended up losing to them.

on paper but not on the field. 2009 Bama was a play away from losing to 09 Auburn. Auburn turned around and beat the same exact team the next year down 24..

Auburn was only a play away from losing that game in '10. 2010 Bama was the exact same. . . less 9 starters on defense

Almost losing to a 7-6 UTK team and having no real playmaker at QB would eliminates them.

Hightower was better than McClain, Dareus was better than Cody.

So it was a different team is what you are saying? What about all of the other starters who were gone from '09? Hightower was nowhere near the player in '10 that he was in '09 or '11 after coming off his knee injury

But guess what? Having both Hightower and McClain at LB and both Cody and Dareus on DL is twice as good as just having Hightower and Dareus. Hightower clearly had a slump year in 2010. And the team had two returning starters on defense.

Yeah, I watched that one thinking Miami was going to slaughter Alabama. Boy was I wrong.

That defense was nasty.

The Bama teams of the last 5 years have been the most talented in history. Best ? Not sure but definitely the most talented.I mean look at the D from 2 yrs ago.Every one of them are on NFL rosters, most highly drafted. If I felt like looking back....theres probably a good percentage on both O and D on rosters.

What was so lucky about it? They didn't really show up, didn't play well at all, and scored at the end to win. There were no trick plays (Auburn had to successfully execute 2 of them early to get up and make it a game if I remember correctly) or lucky bounces of the ball (i.e. Ingram's fumble in '10)

The fact that Bama scored in the last minuet to lead for the first time in the game

Well isn't that what always happens.

Nothing "Trick play" about a pass down the sidelines. Sorry your guys fell for the banana in the tail pipe (double pump) and the reverse which is far from a "trick play". And those plays didnt "make it a game". What made it a game was that we scored and our defense held you guys all day until our starters absolutely wore out due to a very shallow defensive depth chart

or lucky bounces of the ball (i.e. Ingram's fumble in '10)

Sorry but that game has nothing at all to do with 2009. We wont that game if I remember. And one "lucky bounce" didnt win it.

Keep telling yourself these things. One day you will actually believe them. Bama was lucky as hell to leave JHS that day with a W. They deserved it. But they were lucky
