2011 LSU had no quarterback!

Neither did 2011 Bama.
Neither team faced a competent QB all year.
EDIT: Aaron Murray was the only decent one LSU faced, but LSU was head and shoulders better than UGA that season.

2001 Miami was clearly better than 2011 Bama or LSU.

Of course. 2001 Miami actually had a great offense AND a great defense.

How was the Tejas D that year?
texas had a top 5 defense that year, and usc still put up 38 points and almost 600 yards on them.
05 USC is the answer here.

02 Miami still gets the edge.

2005 - USC
2009 - Texas
2000 - Florida State
and 2004 Auburn

lost to a team that many consider one of the worst bcs champions. coached by larry coker. miami 02 definitely had a better defense than 05 usc, but in a head to head matchup no way does the larry coker coached miami team beat 05 usc with carroll.

Maybe not, but 2005 USC was really worn down on defense by the Rose Bowl.
Nothing against OSU, but Miami's loss was a fluke IMO.

LSU played a number of really good QBs.
Tyler Wilson was the Coaches and AP 1st team All-SEC QB for a team that finished at #5 in the nation.
As you mentioned, they played Aaron Murray in the SECCG as well who was the 2nd-team All-SEC QB.
Oregon had Darron Thomas who set a passing yards record and was the QB on a team that went 12-0 before losing to Auburn in the NC the year before. He set an Oregon TD record and and they finished #4 in the nation with a BCS Bowl win.
Also, as mentioned, WV had Geno Smith and they put a 70 spot up on Clemson in their bowl win. Geno was the only one who threw for a lot of yards against LSU, but they didn't score a lot.

I think the loss can be attributed to how shitty of a coach Coker was.

2011 LSU
That team lost their spark in the long layoff up to the championship game. When they were rolling I'd put my money on them vs anybody. I don't know what caused them to slump but during the regular season they had that mentality and I don't think they would've let anybody beat them. I will always scratch my head when thinking about that championship game. The fire was just not there that night.
