Lattimore sat out against Kentucky. He plays that game he's already at 900 yards.

Lattimore got what? 30+ yards against the Auburn lower-half-of-the-SEC defense?

He plays that game, he's already at 900 yards.

Latt doesn't have the luxury of having the defense bite on a Cam Newton read option

Why, yes, he DID have that luxury as a matter of fact.

He just CHOSE not to take it.

You didn't either.

Grow up and realize there is more in life than what fricking football team you CHEER for.

Dumbass.

So, because I refer to my school's team as "we", that means that Alabama football is the only thing in my life? Sweet logic douchebag.

Why are AU fans acting like YPC is the most important stat for an RB and is only better cause he has more carries? Thats like saying Newton's stats are better only cause he has the ball more. duhhh.

Lattimore has 11 total TDs (9 running) 2 receiving TDs with 14 receptions for 240 yards (17.1 YPC for the AU fans) Dyer has 4 total TDs (4 running) 0 receiving TDs with only 1 reception for 9 yards (9 YPC) Lattimore is more all-purpose.

Being completely honest here.

-Lattimore is the superior back. He is a grown man. I don`t care for stats because lattimore gets a ton of carries, but teams also key on him a lot more than dyer.

-Dyer is awesome, he`s got a lot of raw talent and is getting better every game. However, Lattimore looks like a 3 year starter. I really hope spurrier doesn`t overrun him. I know he`s great, but spurriers gotta pace him.

-Auburns offensive line>USCjr`s offensive line

-Dyers going to be great and he shows little flashes, but hes still learning to read blocks and how to put together a great run. He`s a downhill runner but needs to work on his moves, i.e. spin, stiff arm etc. so he can get to the next level and break away. Most of his big runs have come because the defense is off balanced and if you give him a seam he`s gone. That being said, every game he`s looked better and better.

What is amazing about this thread is that the two players that most people are arguing for are both true freshman, and are both living up to the hype that they brought with them.

Latt, and it isn't close.

Dyer only does as well as he has because teams are scheming around Newton in the run game.

No DC is saying "we need to stop Dyer" when they play AU.

Latt is the focus of most DC gameplans vs. USC
