You probably won't understand this, but when you play 11 out of a possible 13 total teams in a league that ONLY plays in-conference, AND the only 2 teams you don't play are the 2 worst teams in the conference...it's extremely difficult to not play teams whose total win/loss percentage isn't right around .500. 
Top that off with the fact that Alabama beat a 1-loss team and an undefeated team in the playoffs, AND neither game was even close!...Well, with a little help from friends, you may be able to comprehend the substance in this post...good luck!

there's no comparison. 2020 bama is not even on the table but not because they weren't good enough. it wasn't even a real season. opt outs. quarantined players. basically no fall practice. cancelled games. moved games. joke of a ncg.
had it been a real season and bama gone 15-0, then yeah. absolutely. let's have a discussion. this bama team was certainly capable of it but we'll never know
