That endzone really improved the overall look of Wade. Any plans for closing in the other end?

it's unsustainable. unless of course you think a&m is somehow just completely isolated from every social current going on in the country. you don't think that do you?

Is that my only option?

It might be that we're a big school and only getting bigger. I believe we're up to 433k living alumni. Demand is going to keep growing based on that alone while supply won't ever get any bigger. Then you factor in the student section. They keep showing up too and that makes up 30-38k.

AD says they have them but they are a ways away. TBH if we filled in that bowl I feel like we would struggle to fill the stadium. 61,000 is right around where the fan base can support since a lot of alumni leave the state to take engineering jobs in Houston, Atlanta, etc. and are too far to come home.

Agreed with the other State poster. Our capacity is 63k and that should be the prefect size for the next few years.

there are pro teams that have literally a pool of millions to draw from and can't fill up stadiums 30% smaller than kyle. again, i think you're not seeing the big picture.

Texans have sold out every game they’ve ever had. Texas just loves it football. You wouldn’t understand.

We shelled a space in the north endzone and are completing a total re-do and adding a recruiting center in the north plus changing the visitor's locker room into ours. The former home dressing room in the Seal Center will be the visitor's locker room. Hopefully, we won't trip over one another coming out of the tunnel now. So, from an engineering standpoint and the jumbo sitting atop the Seal building, I don't see anything happening in the next 10 or so years. I would think that most schools will scrutinize expansions very closely in the near future because of tv coverage.

noticeably absent from this analysis - attendance from every other texas athletic team proving that this is a nationwide cultural issue.

i lived in texas for 8 years. yeah, that's what happens when you make stupid assumptions. also, your point is stupid. if a&m just loves fb, then why is the attendance down? the coach? so, it's not the fb, it's the person with the headset. which is it.

Except I happen to know that Neyland Stadium is expanding/renovating.

Neyland is renovating...but not expanding. The last renovation, they actually lowered capacity. Neyland stadium had a higher capacity 20 years ago than it does now. The next renovation is supposed to be done by the 2021 season (the 100th anniversary of the stadium). They have said the new renovation will not drop the capacity below 100,000.

Tiger stadium, but I do like BD as a close second mainly due to sombrero over upper decks.

Imo, Kyle Field and Jordan Hare are the best looking... Neyland and Tiger Stadium are the best venues.

BDS, DRS, Sanford, Commonwealth, and Faurot aren't bad - fall in the middle ground...

Then Ben Hill..

Rest are shite.

Surprised at good Kentucky looks.....been there bunches of times over the years and was never overly impressed....but it looks like a football stadium.

TA& M looks nice...can’t wait to visit every 50 years or so (stupid SEc sheculing).
