its fricking U-G-A....damn it with these gator fans...and a marine too...

to answer the question...no bias...the guy that gave the reasons for UGA...think it was a cock fan...he had the best answer...which current SEC coach has been at their job the longest? yep...CMR at UGA...best job in the SEC...and even without a NC ring..he will have life tenure...

Carolina, Vandy, Kentucky, Ms.State, and Mizzou.

If you have no aspirations of championships, but instead to have a good paying job for years, any of these schools will keep you around until retirement provide you can get them too and keep them competing at a mediocre level.

What exactly has Arkansas won?

We have to compete with FSU and Miami every year for talent though. Contrast that with UG and LSU, they're the only major programs in their states that are loaded with high school talent.

UGA, UF, LSU, TAMU Basically the same on all accounts, money, resources, fanbase, recruiting

But a Sleeper could Mizzou, not that they are right now, but what it could be. Very similar to the above in the following aspects.

Once the SEC money really starts to flow.

Missouri has some pretty good HS football, not TX, FL, or GA, but it ain't bad.

But the main reason, is it has dome pretty good sports distractions, meaning pro towns KC & STL. This kind of gives you time to build, but once you start winning the fans can pile on. Sort of like when the Dawgs or Tigers are having issues, if the saints and falcons are winning , your not such in the spot light. The jobs in AL, MS, & AR are just brutal if your not winning. If your Saban it's great, if you ain't. Uh oh.

There's only one major program in GA and LA though. Easier than a FL or TX job.

LSU may have the easiest recruiting in the SEC. Solid players and they aren't from a transplant population so they stay home.

Tennessee has the capability - and has shown the ability - to recruit nationally.. but teams like LSU, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn benefit greatly from the amount of talent in their own backyards. shite, even Ole Miss and State have a hotbed of talent to pick from.

Tennessee's lack of back yard talent is due to all the in-breeding. When a toothless male procreates with his toothless sister there's little left of the off-sprig except a lump of flesh that sits around drools on itself and says "Duh". Not much football talent in that. A couple more decades and they'll withdraw from the SEC due to inability to compete.

Depends on if you're winning or not, if you're losing Alabama is not the place to be.
