UGA has five 5 star linebackers.
We have 2 more top 100 recruits at linebacker.
And our top 200 recruit (low 4 star) is among the preseason favorites for the Butkus award (Jamon Dumas johnson).
We have another 3 star (top 400 player) who is a starter at Jack.
Missouri has dudes. They're better. Get over it.
Sorry we aint so dainty and fancy with all the stars

Mizzou should have a very, very stout defense this season. We are returning eight defensive starters from a unit that was very good last season (Tennessee game didn't happen, no need to check on that). If we can find a QB who can reliably make his reads and throw the ball accurately once in awhile, we may surprise some folks this season.

Kendrick was never CB1.

A 9-4 season has the LSU fan base in a frenzy. By ESPN network do you mean LSU homer Peter cause they would have to have improved immensely from last year to be the best.
Mizzou is a joke. Nobody anywhere thinks they have the best of anything.

I said in the thread that I wouldn't be shocked if UGA was #3 or #4 for DBs.
We probably have 3 of the best safeties in the conference. But our corners either have limitations or no experience.
Linebacker at UGA is another story. It is the defensive equivalent to our tight end room on offense. It is crazy how much talent and how much success we have had at the linebacker position.
yah, mizzou should be #1 for dbs

You trying to be funny or do you just struggle with reading comprehension. This was the OP:
Best defensive units in SEC per SECN
Best secondary - UGA
BEST LINEBACKERS - Mizzou
Best DL - LSU
From that it’s fairly easy to conclude that “somebody somewhere thinks they have the best of something.”
You’re demonstrably wrong right out of the chute

You guys could have saved three pages of arguing if the OP had just stated that those rankings specifically stated only one team per category. They picked UGA for secondary first so UGA could not be picked for LB or DL.
Maybe UGA does or doesn't have the best LB's, the point is they COULD NOT be chosen once UGA was picked for best secondary.
They also said florida had the lowest ranked secondary, LB, DL, OL, TE, WR, RB, QB, special teams, coaching, and fans.
Okay the last line may not be true.

I would love to see Mizzou rise up again and be good actually.
The east is already very competitive but Mizzou and especially Florida being down is unacceptable imo.
