Better live up to expectations, or grinder is going to be on the hot seat.

It’s a good thing Jimbo has lived up to the hype for your fan base. All those championships. I wish LSU would be competing like Aggie.

You laughing about those 4 points you crushed us by last year.

It never ceases to amaze me that people set their minds to one thing (in this case Mizzou sucks…they could never have players that are any good) and in light of all evidence to the contrary are incapable of an original thought. Shallow thinking at best.

Mizzou has great linebackers.

But it isn't comparable to UGA.
We go 2 deep (and our backups with 0 starts have been 1st round draft picks).
We are linebacker rich.

One game does not make a program or even a season.

It's just one game.

Well, at least you can acknowledge the talent and put some thought into it. I’ll withdraw my allegation. I mistook you for a knee jerker.

I’m not saying this based on one game. I was using that because I felt a Georgia poster was giving our linebackers short shrift. It emerged as a strength of the MU team as the 2022 season progressed and is thought to be one for 2023. Read up on it a bit. No one who follows CFB closely thinks the MU linebackers are slouches.

UGA has five 5 star linebackers.
We have 2 more top 100 recruits at linebacker.

And our top 200 recruit (low 4 star) is among the preseason favorites for the Butkus award (Jamon Dumas johnson).

We have another 3 star (top 400 player) who is a starter at Jack.

See above.

It isn't you.

It is the Dawgs recruiting and coaching (best ILB coach in college football. Every ILB who has started a game for UGA since 2016 is currently in the NFL. Even the 2 stars)

We can certainly disagree, but it’s not from nothing that the opinion was presented, and certainly not laughable. I think SEC OC’s might be minimally aware.

quote:

Missouri Tigers linebacker Chad Bailey leads all returning SEC players at his position with a grade of 84.2, followed by fellow Missouri Tiger Ty'ron Harper (77.4), LSU Tiger Harold Perkins (77.1), Arkansas Razorback Chris Paul Jr. (76.2), Texas A&M Aggie Jurriente Davis (75.3), Arkansas Razorback Jaheim Thomas (74.7), Alabama Crimson Tide Deontae Lawson (74.3), Florida Gator Mannie Nunnery (74.2), and Georgia Bulldog Jamon Dumas-Johnson (72.6).

You do know what college coaches and professional coaches say about PFF, don't you?

Nope, they rarely call me. What are they telling you? I assume you converse often with them.

No one really knows what they say about PFF.

I usually walk away well before they stop laughing.

Independent scoring where
1) the scorer doesn't know the playcall.
2) the scorer doesn't know the assignment.
3) the scorer isn't calibrated the same as other scorers
4) the scorer has never coached at the college level. Many/Most have never coached at the high school level.

PFF list Brock Bowers as the second best player in college football. They wrong?

I wouldn't rely on PFF to tell me how good Brock Bowers is.

I think that is the point.
My daughter can watch a game and tell me how good Brock Bowers is.

Where am I wrong?
