We're getting very generous on what we're classifying as "colleges"

The whole thing can’t be trusted

If I made a list of the best cities in America, and then listed Dubrovnik, it kinda makes anything I say look retarded

But is Metairie more fun than Baton Rouge? I can tell you Springfield, MO IS more fun than Columbia, MO.

San Louis Obispo, CA?
Lawton, OK ?
Reno, NV ?

Are these the best College Towns to Catch a Communicable Disease? Best Towns to Join the Circus? Best Towns to Get a Prison Tattoo?

What's fun in your opinion? Metairie is very suburban -- mostly for families. It's not even an actual city.

If you are a mid 40s white person who is divorced with kids that likes to smoke a pack a day

That’s the night life in Metairie

Hey Try Hard, I liked College Station well enough, but there’s a reason so many students flee to Houston or Austin over the weekend and not the other way around.

Austin is like the 14th largest city in the US or something now

It’s actually 11th. The point is it’s definitely not a “college town”

Is that why CS hotels are booked out year round and they keep building more?

Students go to those cities to visit their fam. It's nice having momma 90 miles down the road when you want a home cooked meal and weekend away from kegstands and shots.

Oxford is the better answer. I could even accept Starkville. Hattiesburg? You have to be kidding me.

Hattiesburg always rates highly in terms of retirement destinations. Lots of doctors and golf courses per capita.

No wonder USM is the suitcase school for the state

How so? As a Springfield resident, I was surprised to see them on the list. I don’t really view this as a college town at all and would have defaulted to CoMo on this one based off my experiences up there for our games with you guys.
