Best use of the all-white uniform:
Mississippi State in the 2000 Snow Bowl

Also I’ve never heard anyone else refer to theirs as “stormtroopers” unless in direct reference to ours, but that’s neither here nor there.
In that case, you are aggressively ignorant

Auburn's storm troopers are second to none.
Why did you copy UT Martin's uniforms?

You're right about the uniforms but so totally wrong about the helmets that it makes me question your sanity.
Vandy has awesome helmets. Maybe best in the conference. LSU isn't bad, but that tiger logo is a mess and drops them to middle of the pack on my book.
Worst is Tennessee because orange.

These are underrated. Wish they'd go back to them.

Also, while Big 12 and Big 10ish, these are some much better than what they currently wear:

I always liked the old MSU uniforms.

Got all that? Good, because for Monday's BCS game against Auburn, No. 2 Oregon had yet another twist, this one to its all-white so-called "Stormtrooper" look. The numbers have neon-yellow piping around them, and matching neon-shaded cleats and socks that are designed to make the players' feet a blur as they dart downfield.
This is great but you can see from what I posted that AU fans were referring to their uniforms as stormtrooper in April of 2011, which means it was based on the 2010 season at the latest. Oregon then came out with 'stormtrooper' - named by the author not the school - in 2011.
Belongs to Auburn.

it actually doesn't mean that at all. you linked a message board post. we talk about football all year long. because something was discussed in april of 2011 doesn't mean something originated in the prior football season. For all we know Oregon started the term in the 2011 BCS title game and Auburn fans thought it sounded cool and started using it as well.

Auburn, the school, has never named your all white uniforms

Here's another for you
from an Oregon SBNation blog in April of 2009

Stormtroopers: @Washington 2007: W 55-34, 661 total yards, 465 rushing yards, 7.5 YPC @Cal 2008: L 26-16, 290 total yards, 4-18 on 3rd down
quote:
@Boise St: Stormtroopers - Our two games in all whites have been stark contrasts: a shootout in Seattle, and a soggy turnoverfest in Berkeley. The Broncos are losing five starters from their front seven, and hopefully we can channel some U-Dub magic and run it down their throats. Plus, all whites on the smurf turf will look effing sick.
and a message board post from August of 2009

You lose, again. The Stormtrooper moniker belongs to Oregon.

Are you shitting me? They aren't talking about actual football - they are talking about games played on a game system. The AU fan was referencing actual Auburn uniforms.
You've linked to a website talking about shite like a Week 4 game that takes place in early August between Oregon and Cal and that score doesn't show up in the 07, 08, 09, or 10 season.

Hahaha, you're taking some rant retards to school ITT.
And I remember our all whites being referred to as stormtroopers since the mid 90s. Couldve been well before that, but that's my personal experience.
"Stormtroopers" are Auburns! Lol. How pathetic.
