This thread again?

Florida's all orange look is hideous. Apparently McElwain allowed the players to pick the uniforms during his era. He was stupid. That was a mistake.
There can be only one 'stormtrooper' uniform. No other school but Auburn can lay claim to that.

None of them look as good as AU though. And AU was first to use the term.

Idk but our all whites are older than our navy uniforms
Back in the 50s (and into the 60s?) we only wore white

the current navy ones did not begin being used until '63

I see a whole lotta blue. What was the point you were trying to make again? The first picture I posted showed Auburn wearing navy jerseys as early as 1913. I just think it's hilarious when teams try to lay claim to the trademark of an all white uniform as if it's unique
This was your original comment btw. No need to move the goalposts.
Even if we are to move the goalpost, you're still wrong. Auburn started wearing their "current" blue jerseys in 1961 as seen below
1951 Team Picture
1952
1953 Vince Dooley
1954 against Florida
1956 against Northwestern
1957 Iron Bowl
1957 against Ga Tech
1959
1961
1962
1963
1964

Most of those teams you posted don't wear all white on a regular basis, they're alternates
And most of the older ones in your second post don't wear all-white anymore.
Yiu're wasting a lot of time finding and posting all those pics just to make a moot point

Stanford does. UNC does. Tennessee does. Penn State does. Michigan State does. Kentucky does. That's 6 of the 8. The other two do as alternates. So yes, most of them still do wear all white

BTW here's another.
Yea but AU was the "all white" originator.
Honesty don't get all the AU fapping over the "storm trooper" look. There's nothing original or creative about em.The white pants with blue jerseys are a much better look IMO.

Everyone knows that many schools have worn all white uniforms. But to take it to the level where it gets a moniker like 'stormtrooper' uniforms - that means there must be something unique or special, or at least the first to do it.
- AU's look better than the others, and
- AU was the first school to refer to their all white unis as 'stormtrooper'
Thus, they get sole possession of that moniker for them.

Ive heard plenty refer to it as stormtrooper that weren’t Auburn. Seems like a weird thing to be proud of to claim the first.
