I know not many do, but I really like LSU's white helmets. Looks pretty cool IMO

LSU's white Helmets are awesome. Bama's are classic, Auburn's look good.

I think LSU also wore the white helmets against UF in the Swamp in '98.

Best(other than Bama, I'm a homer). west-LSU, east UT.
Worst: west-Ole Miss, east-UF. I hate those for the same reason, the writing.
Over all SEC best(again, excluding homer pick) LSU. Over all worse- I seriously can't decide between UF and Ole Miss.

i apolgize for my ignorance, but why is #12 always shown on bama helmets? is it joe namath's old # or is the # of NC they claim?

It is the number of NCs Bama claims, but it was also worn by both Namath and Stabler. There is also an old photo of Bryant wearing the number back in his playing days, but that was when players changed numbers every week.
