I used to think Tennessee’s circle drill was nice, until A&M brought their full band to Bryant-Denny in 2012 and did the exact same thing only a million times better. They seriously made Tennessee’s version look like a high school band, and I don’t even mean that as an insult. That’s just how good they were. As someone in this thread already said, we can argue all day long about who’s girls are hotter, but if we are just talking about marching bands themselves, A&M laps the field in that category.

How about anyone but ours. Ours is turrible.

Michigan is cool.
Ours may be the worst in the country... we hired away a woman from LSU that made our band respectable for a few years then she left and we're back to being quiet as shite. There's a reason why we play Sandstorm so much...

They didn't, though, and as far as I know never have for an away game. If you listen to the first minute or so of the youtube videos, you'll hear the spokesguy say "243 upperclassmen". So no freshmen. The full band is generally over 400.
That's an admittedly nitpicky comment, sorry. Glad you enjoyed their performance. Aggies get pretty wound up about the 4-way cross, which I don't think they've done at BDS:
4-way cross, forward to ~5:20
My favorite BQ story: My senior year our company won the pre-game marchin (yes, everything was a competition). This had not happened before in my class's time, so we were a bit cocky. We had a BQ buddy who came over to our dorm to play 42 and drink beer, and one of my dumbass classmates told him "Hey, maybe y'all should hang around us more and learn how to march!" I'm thinking "Oh... that's not good." And the next home game our company was 20 ft away from the reviewing stand when the band broke out "The Tennessee Waltz". Try marching to it in your head and you'll see the problem. I figured it was just bad luck - nope! Sumbitch BQ friend told me 34 years later that it was intentional! I love those assholes.

Tennessee's band is really overrated.

I was in the South Carolina band (a good bit before her time). I don't remember much from our away games due to all the alcohol we consumed. But, you're right, the South Carolina band wasn't really that good compared to others in the SEC.

This thread has nothing to do with bands, but you desire to have women you can't have. Just like a SEC Championship.

Ever since Dr. Julian left, UT's band has been on the downhill slide.

A&M's band sucks and they insist on bringing it into your stadium. Their marching isn't anything special. It is more difficult to walk in NYC rush hour foot traffic than their "tight formations."
A&M is the Most OVERRATED half time performance in the country. Much like their athletic program. Billion dollars and still can't even beat State

While TA&M's band is very in sync, walking back & forth between each other is entertaining only for so long.
