I am depressed. You need to put in some two a days to get back into form here. Football season is drawing near and you aren't up to speed yet. You've had some good posts but by and large you seem a bit bloated... sort of like Bert but without the hot wife.
Maybe run a best of Kick 6 comments?

It's completely legal to drop your fcs game to add ND, Michigan is scared plain and simple.

Is this when you want me to make the argument that the Big 10 is some powerhouse of a conference? Well, I won't because it isn't true. It is improving but still weak overall. Nothing can help that West division though. I'm glad you are starting to understand the logic behind this move though.

I don't see this as anything but wanting to have the ND series active again.
I hate to see anyone not uphold their end of a contract. It is a shame the buyout was not even bigger.
A few years back, Missouri backed out of a game against Iowa and replaced it with Arkansas St for an easy win. The buyout was not more than 100K-200K and left Iowa scrambling for a replacement game. This was done to add a win and replace a likely loss. Much different story.

Some on here don't get this. Bret was not trying to appease some Michigan poster on here. Even some of our SEC brethren don't get it. Bret was a spoke person not so much as a ARK coach as he was for being a SEC coach. Harbaugh has everything we can hurl at him coming. As for ducking a SEC West team, just about any of them and replacing it with Notre Dame........smart move on his part.
