Bennet's arm strength?

Check this out...
Quarterbacks in the first group were measured in throwing velocity and Bennett tied Kentucky's Will Levis for the strongest throw at 59 miles per hour. He would then go throw for throw with Levis, considered a top 10 overall prospect in the draft, on deep throws.
"Stetson Bennett I would say was best in show on the deep ball on that drill," Jeremiah said.
Charles Davis gave his thoughts on Bennett's performance.
"He threw the ball really well," Davis said. "The ball came out of his hand easily. His footwork was impeccable in the pocket when he had to throw it to the outside to his left. His deep ball was as good as any thrower out there."
"as good as any thrower out there..." Sounds like his arm strength is better than some think. I think he's making a strong case for himself to the NFL folks.

Put on his best QB performance when it doesn't count: in shorts and a T-shirt. Thats kind of microcosm of what UGA football as a whole was before the last two years

Georgia will have a hard time replacing Bennett

The fact that you acknowledged the absurdly poor timing of this post and then posted it anyway is pretty wild.

If only he could have won a 5th playoff MVP award. Maybe he could show a microcosm of being decent when it counts.

The NFL is so hung up on systems and measurables that this guy is going to make a shite load of money and will rarely, if ever play.

His "best performance" ?? lol Actually, I think his best performance so far was leading the team back with 2 brilliant TD passes against the mighty Tide in the 4th quarter to win the natty.

Football isn't played in that setting. Stetson Bennett has done some nice things at Georgia there's no denying it and he accomplished a lot more than most people ever thought he could.
But drills and combines don't tell the tale. Yes his age likely works against him because developmentally he's much closer to his ceiling than someone 5 years younger.
I think he gets his chance but again that hourglass hurts. He doesn't have 3 or 4 years to spend carrying a clipboard as QB in waiting behind someone like some might have.

This is an odd statement considering Bennett has two national championship rings with him as the starter. The last two seasons are the Stetson Bennett years... and his in game performances led UGA to back to back titles.

Bennett has a strong arm. He's got that old man strength.

2 years doesn't erase decades
You'll be back to your roots before long.

Ironically, he has seen significant development and improvement in each of the last 3 seasons. As if maybe there is more available.
As opposed to levis and Richardson who have shown zero development year over year. They are definitely better pro prospects. But who is more likely to improve for the 2023 season? Levis hasn't shown the ability to learn how to learn.

Well, to quote the good Book...

This is an OP about Stetson Bennett, the QB of the repeat national champions (and who was not involved for the prior decades), who you said played his best in shorts and t-shirts, even after winning said national championships on the field.

Yes. Winning a national championship without a healthy Metchie or Williams on his team is Stetson's greatest achievement.
Ladd McConkey and AD Mitchell can't both be great like that.
