Nate Scarborough was played by Michael Conrad, who went on to tell his officers "let's be careful out there" in Hill Street Blues.
Reynolds played Paul Crewe. Not sure if they say where Crewe played college ball, but it was probably FSU.
The original was a solid movie. Don't bother with the remake.
