What a dolt. Flamer post.

It's a team game and that little fricker wins ball games and CC's.

He will be a back-to-back champ soon.

SEC Legend.

Please explain how any of that was a knock against Stetson Bennett. Also please explain how there's any way possible that you are not drunk right now.

Well, let's look at it. A Georgia running back won't win the Heisman because we do the backfield by committee thing, which is fine and it works. A quarterback will probably never win it because he won't put up enough stats in our system, which is fine because our system works.

The only scenario I see is if Brock Bowers gets like 20 or 30 carries on sweeps next season and has more than a thousand yards receiving.

Aside from that, I don't see it happening any time in the future.

We do didn’t think a Bama player was ever going to win one.

Ran off 4 since Saban got there. Kirby is getting enough great talent to get one soon.

Seriously, who cares about Heismans if you are winning championships? Bryce winning it last season was great for him and our program, but when thinking about the 2021 season the first things that will come to mind are 1. Lost NC game 2. Won SECCG 3. Bryce won Heisman.

It is always about recruiting.

And for us... it isn't about recruiting QBs.
It is about recruiting WRs.

The Phil Steele consensus is that you need to recruit elite wide receivers to win. We have proven that theory wrong for the past 27 games.
But we need to improve our wide receiver recruiting.

Wide receivers want to know that they will get the ball. But to keep winning with an offense that throws to the wide receivers, we need elite wide receivers.

Anything that can get in a recruits ear to convince them that they can be better than George Pickens (because they are healthy), is a good thing. Stetson in new York helps.

Bingo. Tennessee was thrilled to pull some big time WR commitment but there's no answer as to who's going to get him the ball.

How do you think Williams, Stroud, Hooker would do as UGA QB? I imagine better numbers and the same win total.

Bryce Young wasn’t the best player on his team last season

He has had all the hype that is needed to win the Heisman...and some damn good numbers. Nothing Bennett does really wows anyone. Most fans/voters associate Heisman winner with NFL talent, right or wrong just stating the facts. Georgia is just a great team that has no real weaknesses...makes it hard for one guy to shine when everyone is good.

Are you Considering they wouldn’t get to pass the ball after an elite first half if they played for uga?

Looking good for 2 transfers we played against this year.

Georgia players seem to be rather unselfish with the goals rather being team-based rather than individualistic. Get properly developed, drafted high, and win. Kirby recruits based on talent and character it seems, similar to what Kelly is trying to do at LSU. Play your role and you’ll get there. That’s pretty much what Kirby has developed at Georgia. Sure there will be a talent that will be more so prolific to come in the coming seasons, in which Kirby will just let them unleash, to where they’ll be up for more awards at this time of the year. Whether it be a quarterback or running back or what not.

Basically this, if you want to have more of a flashy style while racking up on draft status, statistics, and individual awards, Lincoln is your guy. Just don’t anticipate any success post November.

Coach Bryant only had one Heisman winner, John David Crow and that was when he was at A&M.

Why? They would, just like Stetson, spend nearly every 4th qtr and many/much of 3rd qtrs just handing off the ball. That’s why his numbers are low. He has close to 3500 passing yards this year, around 400 came in 4th qtrs…his numbers would be higher if we were in more close games or playing from behind

Same win total and same stats

Kirby plays to win the games, not to impress the country and media with stats stuffed in the final half of a blowout. He would use any QB he has to play the style he always wants to play, complementary football. As soon as the game is in hand, he's going to park the starter on the bench and coast into the W column while giving reps to the backups.

Only way he ever lets an offensive player stuff the stat sheet all game is if our defense goes the way of the dodo bird, and we're in tighter contests down the stretch of a game.

He's content to get up by 3-4 scores and then sit on the opposing team's chest.
