True. Kansas has trees but there are single counties in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina that have more trees in a single county than Kansas has in the entire state.
I pass more trees every day in my 20 minute commute to work than I did the handful of times I've driven through Kansas from Wichita to Salinas and from Salinas to Colorado. There's a small stretch of I-70 west of Salinas that is quite lovely rolling terrain but it's mostly covered in by wind turbines. Kansas is a mind numbingly boring state scenery wise but can't hate on it because it's an incredibly important state for the U.S. as a whole from a farming/food production standpoint

I am perfectly ok with us and our neighbors (not missouri or Colorado west of Denver county line) cutting off and starving large swathes of the country.
