Looking back, it's crazy that LSU never hired him back considering he didn't have a buyout at Alabama and all anyone had to do was make him a better offer.
Instead, even in a 12 team playoff, LSU has only fielded 1 team in the past 12 years that would have made it, 2019. That means every other season had 3 or more losses.
Makes you wonder just how bad the LSU AD has been over this time because now....

The only time Nick Saban has returned to Baton Rouge since retiring from Alabama was when Game Day was there.
