It will be an interesting one and, because of the style of play, I predict one or both fan bases will be beside themselves about the refs. Bama’s guards are quick and will get LSU in foul trouble early and often if the game is called on the tighter side. On the other hand, if the refs let it go, that will really hurt Bama’s style and allow LSU to get some easy baskets off turnovers.

I see lack of leadership on the court. Lack of intensity most of the game.
Hope Oats can find some while recruiting.

Alabama D vs LSU O

Unstoppable force vs immovable object.

Usually the immovable object is the defense but in this case I actually think it’s the opposite

Alabama D vs LSU O

Those 2 are equally bad.

LSU's D is very, very good. Bama's O is just pretty good. LSU wins unless bam's go nuclear outside the arc.

This is a hot take.

I have no feel for this game at all. Terrible defensive team (Alabama) against a really poor offensive team (LSU). Pretty good offensive team (subject to Bama's shooting) against a good defensive team. I guess it will come down to which team can make threes. We also need desperately to stay out of foul trouble. It's been a huge problem lately.

If Alabama keeps playing like they have for the last month. LSU will win

I've been told on numerous occasions by this board that Kentucky was going to steal Oats... Is he still there?

We're not done losing. These next 3 games will tell the tale on this bunch.

Man I don't have a good feel on this game. I could see either team win.

Right here. The OP isn't exactly the riveting basketball talk we are looking for though sorry.

Other than the Lipscomb game, I've watched every minute of every LSU game and I still am not sure how good this team is. As great as I feel watching them play defense, I get equally frustrated watching them play offense. Which of course is the polar opposite of Wade's teams before this year.

LSU cannot go on a scoring drought. We will need to defend the arc, and grab defensive boards. We do 2 of those 3 and we win the game. It's going to be a full out battle all the way to the end. I had to start a thread to get both sides fired up.

Winning a game where you finish it 1 for your last 18 from 3PT is something.

Yeah we did that last night winning by 16 while going 0-12 from 3.

Good defense and dribble penetration make it possible.

I have returned! Not bouncing out on this basketball team. We played without 2 of our starters and loss by 3. I’m guaranteeing a win for the Tigers when Bama comes to the PMAC for the season finale. I’ll take being 15-3 vs 12-6 any day of the week. Enjoy the rest of your week
