You mean used to get plastered. Not so much any more. A lot of Corporations finally figured out that investors don't like losing billions in market cap so he stopped getting plastered anywhere. Sorry if you miss seeing his normally bearded face so much.

You are free to bookmark my post if you would like. Don't care enough about yours to put it into some gotcha file. Angel will fade into obscurity when she ends up as some mediocre WNBA player and has some mental breakdown.

I love this quote. I have seen onlyfan girls showing their buttholes online use that same line of logic as some sort of way to claim they are winning at life. Girls that bottle their farts for simps pays more that you get paid. I guess they are better than you right? You must be a complete loser if girls bottling their farts make more than you right? Kinds sad to think that way.

One of the best responses to an asinine post I have seen. Kudos.

You aren’t willing to confront the fact that Angel Reese’s popularity is firstly due to her personality and secondly due to her athletic prominence. I maintain that her brand and value will not only survive a transition to the WNBA but would survive an athletic failure on that stage. We will see if I’m right

You’re very adept at hot-swapping strawman arguments into the conversation as they fit your rehearsed takedowns, but if you’d force yourself to confront my premise above we’d be able to have a half-decent conversation.

Pick an argument, fellas — do we think she’ll fail professionally or debase herself in success?

You’re allowed to pick both but you’ll need to do that with coherent sequences of English words.

No, it would be wrong to say we don’t care about women’s basketball. You clearly care a great deal about it.

Apparently you do too given the threads you've started on the subject.

The studio where women discuss the WNBA? Yeah no one watches that bs.

For someone who sadly resorted into the reductive "they make more money than you so they are better than you" argument, it is a little too late for claiming you are trying to conduct a "half-decent" conversation.

Who in this thread is saying she will be a success professionally? I think you are getting confused while reading your own posts. Bad sign.

I was making the point that social media followers are worth money in this economy; I was comparing her IG to your rant posts, which are not monetarily valuable.

You asserted that the well-spoken and energetic heart of an LSU championship WBB team, whom Shaq considers family and will continue to mentor, will fail in her professional life because you mistake one viral taunting incident for questionable character. Equipped with much more context and insight, I wanted to assure you that she’s in good hands.

You could be the CEO of John Deere for all I know. My point was not the ad hominem that you’ve used to misrepresent it. I now eagerly await your next strawman-inspired tangent.

Do you not consider OnlyFans models selling gazillions of butthole pics to be professionally successful? Their money spends just fine — it’s just at a high price of dignity.

No. I do not think money at the expense of your dignity makes you professionally successful. There are all sorts of opinions on what constitutes "professional success" and many do not consider making money the unimpeachable standard for the measure of success. You may feel dignity is not necessary. If you feel making a large amount of money is the primary standard for being considered a professional success, this would also mean one thinks that teachers, home health workers and our military members to be professional failures. That is a very sad way to look at the world. I feel sorry for (and fear for) the children (mostly daughters) of anyone who thinks that professional success can be had without dignity. But you are entitled to your opinion though.

This is just a definitional squabble and I understand your take, here.

But to tie the point back to its origin, are you implying that earning primarily through endorsements leveraging her social media following while making a paltry WNBA salary would constitute a professional failure for Angel Reese? Where is she compromising her dignity there?

Maybe she would not have gotten so much hate if she had handled winning better. She got what she deserved. Poor, poor little lamb. No new championship ring to flash in rival players faces.
