Swept UNLV who is in the top 50 of the RPI. SOuth Carolina is only other SEC team with more top 50 RPI wins right now :)

Biggest difference this year is that we don't have 6 freshmen in the lineup and two transfers playing SEC baseball for the first time. Last year 3 of the freshmen hit over .300 in SEC play but struck out a ton. This year we have plugged in two freshmen but they aren't having to carry the team like the 6 did last year. Our 9 hitter this year batted leadoff last year. IF pitching can improve as the season goes on, we should get to a regional. Big series this weekend at Arizona State.

They will cost themselves games with their baserunning.
I understand aggressiveness, but from what I've seen they are unnecessarily reckless. Stealing home with the bases loaded and 2 outs with your best hitter at the plate?
Way too many outs on the bases and bunts with good hitters imo.

The talent level is the best it's been in 8 or 9 years. Makes the reckless decisions on the bases even more maddening.

Hell at least one has accused AJ Reed of hitting with a loaded bat just because he's stealing Wes Rea's thunder at the moment.
Good job Vols. Hopefully you can keep it going. I've seen UK have some strong starts and level off when conference play begins.
