I’m pretty sure Tennessee will field a team this year.

If he takes a step up it could mean big things for this lineup. MSU will be fine, but Allen has a chance to make a huge positive impact

Just curious why he competes internationally for Sweden instead of the US?

I'd have to assume it has something to
do with each country's commitment to his event. Maybe USA Track just doesn't put much effort into training vaulter's? Maybe Sweden got one of those freakshow Russian coaches that continually set world records?

JJ Bleday - RF

This guy killed us at the super regional in Nashville last spring

He's a difference maker. Potential first rounder. Hope he stays healthy, as we were a completely different team without him in the lineup last season.

Also hoping that Julian Infante can rebound from a disastrous 2018.

Maybe so but he's an American citizen and was born in Louisiana.

International sports have LOTS of provisions which allow athletes to play for countries other than their birthplace. Soccer is full of them.

The only strict rule is that you can't switch countries once you made the choice

Believe he has a faster/easier track to the Olympics competing for Sweden is why, but could be wrong. I think the Olympic trials in Sweden also provide more room for a bad day. There's also more competition in the US than there is in Sweden. He does have dual-citizenship in the US and Sweden. But for those that think he will end up competing for the US, he can't. I believe the rule was changed to where once you make a choice, you are stuck competing with that country indefinitely.

Well fortunately for Tennessee, with Missouri being ineligible, as long as they don't finish dead last they will make the SECT.

Is there anybody that’s supposed to be as bad as us?

Auburn (as I see it):

1. Will Holland SS
2. Ryan Bliss 2B
3. Steven Williams RF
4. Edourd Julien 3B
5. Connor Davis 1B
6. Judd Ward LF
7. Rankin Worley DH
8. Kason Howell CF
9. Matt Scheffler C

SP1 - Tanner Burns RHP
SP2 - Davis Daniel RHP
SP3 - Jack Owen LHP
SP4 - Garrett Wade LHP
CP - Cody Greenhill RHP

Bliss is 70 grade speed fast, so if the bat develops as I expect I look for him and Holland to swap places in the lineup.

There is a chance that CBT elects to spread our poorer bats around in the lineup. I don't see any of the bottom 3 guys to hit higher than .250 this year. However, I expect the top 6 to carry plenty of the load.

Burns will be in the discussion for best pitcher in the conference this year and will be back next year as well.

It would not surprise me to see tfrosh Wade make his way into the weekend rotation and either Davis or Owen move to the pen.
