Pretty confident with the first 4 bats, then after that, it's a crapshoot.

Gunner Halter was an absolute STUD in JUCO and has tons of power, and according to Gautreau Westburg has made the biggest improvement from year one to year 2

Him and Duplantis have a chance to break the all time hits record this year, should be a fun race.

As is Antoine Duplantis from LSU. Im sure the SEC network will be telling us about his pole vaulting skills all season similar to how they told us a MILLION times the Kramer Robertson was the son of Baylor Women's Head Coach Kim Mulkey

You mean they will be telling you about his brothers pole vaulting skills?

That too, but Ben McDonald refers to Duplantis being a junior pole vaulting champ as a teenager but gave it up for baseball.

I think both of them will. I'm honestly surprised the record has stood as long as it has.

Its stood so long b/c most of the best hitters are gone after their Jr years. Mangum and Duplantis are anomalies.

I get that but that's always been the case with college baseball. I believe Taylor Dugas was somewhat close a few years ago at Alabama. Preston Tucker at Florida was very close a few years ago as well. There are still plenty of 4 year players that get a lot of hits but aren't necessarily great prospects for the next level.
