We aren't going to the National championship next year. Get over it. Look at our schedule and who we lost.

Virginia Tech could play yall just tough enough to wear your players down a good bit (much like LSU did last season) for A&M to take advantage of the opportunity

You remember the last time Saban used a loss to motivate the team all offseason? Didnt turn out well for the Aubs.

No one's touching Bama in 2014 either, that 2011 class is gonna produce. And by that time, The Process will be in full swing.

What does Saban's contract go through, 2020? That's 119 games, given the 1-game playoff. Alabama will be the first college football team to win 119 straight games.

Maybe McCarron or Yelton...whoever gets injured? It is football afterall. Playing a tough game like Virginia Tech and then having to rebound and go to College Station against JFF won't be an easy task. Alabama could also very well go 2-0 in that stretch. We shall see. It makes the sport interesting.

Good thing we have a bye week in between those two games then.

Ahh...I didn't know that. I thought it was in between A&M and Ole Miss. That will definitely help.

Awesome. Too bad you could not get a bye before LSU, too.

Improved secondary.

Bye week before the game.

JFF MIGHT be in a Sophomore slump at the time the game is played.

Our defense returns almost everyone in the front seven, so they will actually be a lot better at containing him, though it's impossible to completely contain him.

We have a bye week after VT and before A&M, and V-Tech isn't LSU.

I also see no reason why LSU couldn't beat Alabama.

We return the second best QB in the country and he may be throwing to the best WR corp in the country, or at least the SEC. You a lot up front on the DL and your best LB by far, so no reason to think that that doesn't cancel out us losing 3/5 on the OL which means Yeldon could again go for, what, 6 and a half a pop?

Mett showed up last season and I give him credit for that, but our pass rush is looking insane for next season, should be interesting to see how LSU's OL holds up in pass pro. Hill is alright, but he's getting over hyped just like every other back you guys have had recently. You all said the same shite about Ware, Hilliard, and Blue. None of them were what you thought they were, but Blue got hurt so he still has a chance IF you guys use him right and make Hill/Blue a one two bunch like Lacy/Yeldon were. Still, Hill averaged what, 3.6ish YPC against us last year? I don't know if he can improve on that number, but with Blue taking carries off of him it should help.

It'll be a good game, but right now I think everyone outside of Baton Rogue thinks Bama will take it, we need to see each team a bit before we can make an accurate prediction, but on paper right now Bama wins by around 10.

Impossible in today's SEC, but we could easily win 14 in 2013 and then start off unbeaten before losing to LSU in 2014, either way the playoffs would still have us in there, and if LSU is unbeaten we could have a rematch for the title.
