Here's the deal, it doesn't matter who Bama lines up at any position. The bottom line is, Bama will win at least 12 games every year with whoever. And more than likely win the national title.

Does any player get underneath the collective skins of LSU fans more than Barrett?

Alabama is a machine and is pretty much unstoppable. Saban will win the NC at least 3 more times before his contract is up

What's sad is everyone knows it's true, but you're gonna get called a homer for saying the same thing every year despite being right every time.

I know. But it doesn't matter. Every year we go through the same talk during the summer:

"Bama lost X,Y,Z from the defensive front 7. No way they can replace that!"

"Bama lost 3 starters on OL. No way they can replace that!"

"Bama expects to win with a 1st year QB! Ha! No way!"

Then bama goes out, beats the brakes off 95% of the teams on our schedule. Takes home 3 of the last 4 national titles. And is currently 13/4 odds to win the next NC.

Players don't matter. The system matters.

Early in the process, it's a good thing that season happened because now we'll never let it happen again. The Process really hasn't even got into full swing yet, this year will be the year that you can say the Process is finally emerging, and it'll only get better

They really should. Looking at their schedule, they have a few tough games.

Game 1: Virginia Tech - Atlanta
Game 2: Texas A&M - College Station
Game 8: LSU - Tuscaloosa

We already know (as indicated by the past couple of years) that the SEC Champion has advanced to the BCS Championship with one loss. I actually see it differently this year. I think Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia all cancel each other out. I think we will see a Championship game to the likes of: Stanford vs. Ohio State. This may finally be the year that the SEC doesn't play in the title.

You can't be serious. If only for the fact that it doesn't get better than winning the national championship.

Winning one and going 14-0 while shutting out every team is the best and that should be the target.

But that won't happen.

Winning one and going 14-0 and blowing out every team COULD happen, it depends on different variables and some lucky bounces.

Who is gonna beat Bama? I'm waiting, we return far too much and have an easy schedule. No one is touching us this year, try again in 2014.

LOL. Wut? Look, 1/9/12 adversely affected me, too, but did you forget about the rest of the 2011 season?

Texas A&M did last year. Why not again?

Virginia Tech could play yall just tough enough to wear your players down a good bit (much like LSU did last season) for A&M to take advantage of the opportunity. I also see no reason why LSU couldn't beat Alabama.

Would be a nice match up, I've been wanting to see Clowney v CyKo. Top at their positions, same recruiting class, one was #1 the other was #2. Two top 10 picks if both leave early. Clowney would probably win overall, but it'd make for some nice football on the left side.
