I've said it 100 times, Antoine Caldwell is the Tide's biggest loss this year. He was the anchor and brain behind the best OL in the country in 2008. He is the glue that held that unit together so well and provided invaluable leadership to that team.

SSDD. Losing Barrett Jones hurts but I think we'll be all right given our track record since '08. An undersized center by the name of William Vlachos stepped right in and did just as good a job.

He's going to put his rings in the basket and go to the Grand Canyon when he is done @ the Wal-marks.

So who do you think is the biggest loss for y'all?

I feel like you could say this for quite a few teams.

Nuh-uh, only Saban-coached Bama teams are capable of that.

On the OL? Definitely Barrett Jones. I'm not disagreeing there. I'm simply saying I think we'll be okay.

And what will happen the first year UA doesn't win it?

I'd say run Saban off, he's slacking.

Wasn't Barrett Jones a starter on that 2008 line as well?

You haven't had a line without him since 08. Its just me, but I don't think Vlachos has NEAR the intangibles of Jones. Most players don't.

What exactly is "okay" to you?

Winning it all again?

No. But I think we'll be "okay" enough to be in contention for it.

No. He started as a RS freshman in '09.

Here's the deal, it doesn't matter who Bama lines up at any position. The bottom line is, Bama will win at least 12 games every year with whoever. And more than likely win the national title.

the talk happens every year. But, it's pointless.

Rival fans said we couldn't replace 3 year starter JPW and expect to win....we won the very next year with a 1st year starter. We couldn't replace Coffee with an unproven back named Ingram....he immediately won the Heisman. We couldn't trust Richardson to be the primary back since he's never done it before.....we won the BCSNC. We couldn't expect to be good on defense after losing 4 defenders to the 1st round of the draft......we immediately won the next BCSNC and finished with the #1 defense in the country.

Players' experience doesn't matter at Bama. The only thing that matters is changing the names in the program for the depth chart.

Alabama is a machine and is pretty much unstoppable. Saban will win the NC at least 3 more times before his contract is up

If he reaches his full potential he'll be a starter in the arena league.
