Had a former player, Kenny Miles, who shot himself in the arm and claimed someone else did it when they robbed him. The kicker...he graduated from Carolina with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Nope, had nothing to do with Plaxico shooting himself...he was jailed for criminal possession of a handgun...

Shory could suspend the thug for randomly firing a gun in public, but there is plenty of past history that says this kid will play against FSU if he is able to medically

This.
It wouldn't be very hard to believe and might explain why he was described as uncooperative, but a bar owner relaying a rumor isn't exactly a reliable source.
