You can go to Walmart and see crazy people in any state. That is one of the universal truths.

I drive up to Greenville and Spartanburg a couple of times a year on business. When I do, I spend the night in Pell City at the Holiday Inn Express just across the street from that Walmart. Each time I've gone in that store, it's been like stepping into a sci-fi movie.
