Hurts will not have seen anything like he is about to Saturday in Death Valley. His bell will get rung one time and he's done. Just got to stop the run and make a few plays on O.

Strong arm, but a lot of work to do on timing routes and deep ball accuracy.
The former is understandable as a true frosh who split 1st team reps into the season. The latter can improve, but his crow hop and "wild thing-esque" (shout out Charlie Sheen and Cleveland Indians) inaccuracy does not leave me confident that a QB whisperer came in over the bye week to solve his issue.
That said, I think Bama's strong inside/outside run game mixed with a quality short pass attack and occasional deep throw to keep it honest are good enough for at least 28.
I do not think LSU can play a balanced game against this D. High end 21-24 pts for LSU.
I expect another great game, but have Bama 28 - LSU 24.

You sound more like LSU fans did last year with Harris. Guess what...... it never happened. As of right now Hurts is a good running back that can throw the ball ok. Nothing more. Nothing less. Don't expect it to change in two weeks.

If you have watched his games on occasion he will drop one down the chimney, and then miss a wide open receiver by 5yds. He can throw the ball 60-70 yds. One of the these games it will all click. He is too talented not to be a great one.
