Bama's 2020 national title...let's clear the air.

OK, I know everyone likes jabbing the Tide posters about this natty not being 'legitimate', but lets throw out the trolling stuff and talk sensible for a moment. Of course, I have no love loss for Bama, but...
The facts about that season; They played an all-SEC schedule and went 10-0. Not a single bloodbath against a NW Rhode Island Tech-like team.
They hung 50 on UF in the SECCG, stomped Notre Dame then broke one off in Ohio State to win the natty. They finished 13-0. Every team in the nation was playing under the same conditions...low attendance due to covid, games getting cancelled, etc.
So...give me some serious, non-trolling arguments here. What's your problem with that title being...a title?

Ohio State won 6 games before the playoffs.

You think that somehow made them...weaker? If anything, maybe they were more rested? Is that possible?

bullshite. Saban being tGOAT he is, got the team to stay together and said F covid. No opt outs or anything close to that. Most other teams? Not so much
Eta: you of all people should know what it looks like when a team with opt outs plays a team with no opt outs (Georgia vs FSU)

I’ve never understood this argument.
Did that make them worse? Are you saying someone else was worthy? Because they spanked Clemson in the playoff to get to the title game

Good cast. It only took three minutes to get your first bite from a LSU fan.

The trophy is in the case, everything else is just haters and losers talk.

It's jealousy. They know it, you know it, we all know it.
The LSU fixation on Bama is different than our rivalry with Auburn or Tennessee. I'm sure those two fanbases are jealous of us too, but mostly they just hate us, and that's fine because we hate them back with interest. But LSU... they are so jealous of us it's a little embarrassing.

The only ones that seem bitter about it is LSU and that’s due to insecurity that Bama team would have dog walked 2019 LSU

With each passing year, that 2020 Bama team will slip further down the list of best championship teams.
I mean, you’re here asking folks questions as to the teams validity.
There will always be a cloud over that team. Deserved or not

Son, no team would have dog walked 2019 LSU.
You just showed how little you actually know about college football
Take a lap and hit the showers. LMAO!

I'll throw LSU fans this bone: the 2019 was the last cfb season like it was for most of our lives. I think the 11-2 Alabama team might be able beat all of the national champions since 2021. I'm confident all of the top 6 would be a national champion in any season since NIL and unlimited transfers started.

So, that's the point of this thread. I'm asking...why do YOU think this statement is true? Clarify...

But they will always be one year ahead of 2019 LSU. And that is what guts LSU fans.
2019 was supposed to be a turning point for LSU. LSU fans convinced themselves LSU was going to be dynastic. And then just one year later it was back to the same old same old.

Ok Capt...Here's your chance, give us your best reasoning for defending that title as being real.

Are you even thinking before typing?
Do you honestly believe that 365 days of difference has any impact on how I look at the 2020 Bama team?
That’s insane coming from a guy who roots for a school who hasn’t sniffed a natty in decades. Then again, maybe that’s why you feel the way you do.
Carry on.
