They will lose to Georgia in the rematch, yes.

A Bama loss in the Playoffs and 5-5 and 6-6 records should make your year Skippy
That 10 of 11 still stands

Bama wins it all unless they take Michigan
to lightly !
to lightly !

I think the opposite. I think it’s gonna be like Bama vs ND was. 42-10 kinda thing. Cincinatti is going to be crushed and the game will be over with 2:00 left in the first half.

I see what you did there

I think a lot of it depends on how this game starts. If Cincinnati comes out and starts shredding our defense, and making us play from behind, trying to keep up, it may be a long game.
However, I just don't see it happening. Cincinnati is a team full of 3-stars. Maybe before the offensive revolution in cfb, you'd get a team with less talent and a superior scheme (like Utah or Boise St. of yesteryear), but these days everyone is completely familiar with the spread, RPO, hurry-up, air raid BS, and built to stop it.
I think it's far more likely that Alabama's defense smothers Cincinnati, and we put the game out of reach early.
It's more likely that this is the most lopsided game in the history of the playoff than Alabama losing

I just love it when you give all these scientific breakdowns of the game.

It would not surprise me to see Alabama, Georgia or Michigan win the whole thing. I don't see Cincinnati the same way. I don't believe Alabama will have much trouble with them.

Where is lightly, and why would Bama take them there?

You could very well be right....this game could go either way. Although Alabama obviously has more outstading athletes, make no mistake, Cincy has some studs also. Their DB's are the best in CFB, with the best one (Ahmad Gardner) losing the Jim Thorpe award to his teammate Coby Bryant. They are absolute lockdown CB's and their back 7 are among the best in the nation. Their DL will harass you. Seems like it is the kind of team that plays down to their competition at times, but really rises to the occasion against good competition, as evidenced by their slaughter of bot SMU and Houston, and make no mistake that 24-13 win was not as close as that as they easily should have won by 20. Should be a really good game as Cinci. is a nightmare matchup for Bryce Young.

Losing to Cincinnati would be a new level of pathetic
Yes losing to the #4 team in the country and a team that would be playing for a natty would be the most pathetic thing ever.
I guess losing playoff games is better than not even being invited to play in one. Ever

It took a FG at the end last year for a talent loaded Georgia team to beat them.
You can't take any team lightly... especially when it's now a 2 game season. Turnovers are a great equalizer...and they have elite corners...our #2 WR is out, playing young WRs maybe not on the same page as the QB due to inexperience...could be interesting.
