My question is how did they determine it was a fake to avoid stopping the game and clearing the stadium out? I can completely understand wanting to avoid the mass hysteria that would no doubt occur but I'm just curious how they avoided doing that.

I guess the dogs around the stadium give you a pretty reliable source. Still if there is a 1% chance that it’s true they’d probably have to stop it
